Winter is here, which means Dota 2 gamers have a lot to look forward to, with new content coming as part of the Dota More Winter Update and a new Battle Pass that will launch in the coming weeks.
As with every new start, Valve is rolling out new content for Dota More subscribers, including a seasonal treasure, updated guild quests and rewards, and a new music pack.
The Winter 2021 Seasonal Treasure launches alongside the update and is exclusive to Dota More members. It features new cosmetic sets for Spirit Breaker, Chaos Knight, Riki, Treant Protector, Arc Warden, Undying, and Lina. There is also a new Bionic Birdie courier that players will be able to unlock.
The other new content is a heavy metal music pack, which is available now for $ 4.99. This music was composed by Swedish deathcore band Humanity’s Last Breath and is meant to add a “brutal point to the soundscape of battle”.
Most players who don’t subscribe to Dota More will be more interested in the few new information Valve has shared about the upcoming Battle Pass.
We already knew the Battle Pass would be phased out before the end of the year, but now we know that it will include some vacation-themed content, albeit only a few rewards. More details on the Battle Pass are expected to arrive in the next few weeks, right before it goes live worldwide for everyone.
