Free Christmas dinner scheduled for Saturday

Harvest Church in Natrona Heights, Harrison, will serve a free Christmas dinner from noon to 4 p.m. or until food runs out on Saturday at the church, 1333 Freeport Road.

The menu will include ham, mashed potatoes, corn and a bun. No reservation is required.


Drive-thru food distribution scheduled for Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills

The Alegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will be holding a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Pittsburgh Mills Galleria, Frazer .

Reservations are required before 5 p.m. on Monday to ensure sufficient food is available. A limited number of home deliveries are also available for residents of postal codes 15076, 15084, 15065 and 15024. You will need your name, email, postal code, email address, current weekly income and license plate number of the car that will be taking the food.
