As we head into this season of Gay christmas, the Austin community is ready for a whole slew of goodies (or tricks) with not one but two weekends filled with spooky drag shows, queer cult horror screenings, titillating burlesque and more. Halloween fun guaranteed to make you vibrate and relax. To start planning your Halloqueer celebrations – and make sure you get your cash back before they sell out – check out these six terrifically fabulous events:

Gothic ball
The ball of your nightmares with Die Feliciathe spooky cast of drag hellhounds and special guests.

Austin’s QTBIPOC dance party host two spooky nights at Luster Pearl South (10400 Menchaca Rd.) this Friday-Saturday, October 22-23, at 7 p.m., then join them at Cheer Ups (900 Red River) on Friday, October 29, 8 p.m. (5-10 $).

Halloween with queens
