Mary Ann (Lopacinski) Hodak, 95, from Indiana, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.

She was the daughter of Joseph and Nellie (Kuzneski) Lopacinski, born December 31, 1925 in Lucerne Mines, PA.

Mary was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Ernest. She enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and listening to polka music. Mary loved to laugh and joke and she loved all animals. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary is the last of her surviving family, she entered this world with fanfare on New Years Eve and left this world with fanfare on July 4th.

She is survived by three children, Joe Hodak and her fiancé, Renee Lundberg, Ken Hodak and his wife Theresa, Cindy Warshowsky and her husband Steve, Ten grandchildren, Aaron Hodak and his wife Tanya, Jodi Beer and her husband Kris, Jason Hodak, Luke, Nick Hodak, Jonathan Hodak, Michelle Macdonald and her husband Chris, Morgan Mock and her husband Eric, Kacie Warshowsky, Alaina Warshowsky, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, her husband, John “Skunk” Hodak Jr., one son, Jonathan, five siblings, Tessie, Edward, Lucille, Helen and William.

Friends will be received on Thursday July 8, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at McCabe ~ Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer, with Mary’s funeral to be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, Ernest. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
