BOARDMAN – Mary Agnes Mariotti, 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, July 15, 2021.

Mary Agnes was born August 17, 1930 in Youngstown, daughter of Paul and Mary Smotrilla Lilko. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1946 and was a member of St. Luke’s Church.

A generous person, Mary Agnes was full of fun and love, and was an inspiration to everyone, especially her children and grandchildren.

Mary Agnes has worked for several pharmacies in the area and has volunteered over 4,300 hours in St. Elizabeth. Her love of cooking led her to run her own restaurant business and cook at The Embassy.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband William J. Mariotti, whom she married on March 5, 1977; daughters, Paula (Brad) Maple and Maribeth (Jim) Bieber; grandchildren Kim, Laurie, Heather and Jason; great-grandchildren, Jay, Kris, Sabrina, Nicholas and Isabella; one great-great-grandson, Ryder; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Mary Agnes was predeceased by a sister, Anna Lilko; and brothers, Edward Lilko, Paul (Eleanore) Lilko and Robert (Dolores) Lilko.

Family and friends can call 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.

A Christian funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman.

Arrangements are in the care of Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
