FUGA has announced a worldwide distribution and marketing services agreement with Swedish label YEAR0001.
Post-punk band Viagra Boys and Swedish rapper Yung Lean are on the label’s roster. The partnership will see FUGA work on all digital distribution, marketing and label services, including synchronization licensing and audience engagement, for the YEAR0001 releases.
FUGA will additionally support worldwide physical distribution for YEAR0001. London-based marketing company DreamTeam will continue to work with YEAR0001 and FUGA on the global marketing strategy for the labels’ artist campaigns.
The first new music to be released under the new FUGA/YEAR0001 deal includes Yung Lean’s mixtape, Stardust. Also included is the new Viagra Boys album, cave worldscheduled for worldwide release on July 8, 2022.
The three-time Grammy-nominated Swedish punk band are currently touring the United States, including making an appearance at Coachella this year. They also announced a world tour, including venues like London’s O2 Brixton Academy and New York’s Brooklyn Steel. Subsequent releases from the label will include albums by Bladee, Ecco2k, Drain Gang collective Whitearmor and Yung Lean’s new studio album.

Ebba Guhnby also joins FUGA as Nordic Business Development Manager. She brings with her extensive experience in label management and e-commerce.
His previous roles include working with The Orchard and Spotify. Ebba has a deep understanding of the Nordic market and her knowledge of business growth makes her a crucial addition to the FUGA team. The arrival of FUGA in the Nordic market is an important industry development for the Downtown-owned B2B distributor.
