Fred Again.. Says Swedish House Mafia Collab Drops This Week

Fred Again… has announced that he will be releasing a collaboration with Swedish House Mafia this week called “Turn On The Lights Again”.

The song is set to be part of her upcoming album “Actual Life 3”, although it hasn’t been officially announced, which is set to feature collaborations with Romy, HAAi, Headie One, Skrillex and others. [via Mixmag].

The DJ and producer told fans on his Discord channel that “Turn On The Lights Again” is the reason he’s delayed his third solo album, revealing he wants things to be perfect.

“Arite so parrrrt of the reason I had to push AL3 back is because the crazy reaction of turning the lights on just made me want to finish it and get that shit ouuutttttt,” he wrote later on Instagram.

Last week, Fred Again… posted a TikTok explaining that he had to push back “Actual Life 3” by “about three weeks”. Her post read, “This is my favorite thing I’ve done so I don’t want to rush the ending, you know.

“I see you all in my DM shit and I appreciate it immensely. It inspires me every day to try to improve it. So thank you and give us a second. He replied to a fan in another TikTok to confirm that the new song will arrive this week.

Fred Again..’s comments follow the release of ‘Jungle’ last month, which features a snippet of Elley Duhé’s 2017 track ‘Immortal’, as well as co-credited production by Four Tet’s Kieran Hebden .

“Actual Life 3” is the follow-up to two of the DJ/producer’s albums in 2021: last April’s debut album “Actual Life (April 14 – December 17, 2020)” and November’s follow-up “Actual Life 2 (February 2). – October 15, 2021)’.
