Coldplay announces details of special album launch in London

Coldplay has revealed details of a special album launch show they will perform in London later this month.

The band will celebrate the release of their upcoming album, ‘Music Of The Spheres’, with a one-off performance for fans at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

The concert will take place on October 12. Fans who pre-order the album (which will be released on October 15) from the official Coldplay store before 11:59 p.m. on October 4 (including those who have already done so) will receive a unique code, giving them the chance to purchase tickets to the show.

Tickets cost £ 20 plus booking fees, with all profits going to the ClientEarth environmental charity.

Fans who pre-order “Music Of The Spheres” from the official Coldplay UK store will also receive an access code to purchase pre-sale tickets for the band’s upcoming UK tour.

Yesterday (September 30), Coldplay and BTS finally released the music video for their new collaboration, “My Universe”.

The joint single was released on September 24 and was co-written by the two groups alongside Swedish hitmaker Max Martin. The song is also the second single to be taken from Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres” following their comeback song “Higher Power”.

Over the past week, the two groups also released a documentary titled In my universe, which tells about the creation of “My Universe”. They also unveiled an acoustic version of the single, as well as a ‘Supernova 7’ remix.

Coldplay performed ‘My Universe’ on the New York stage of Global Citizen Live this weekend. While BTS was not physically present at the concert, the group was presented in the form of holograms against the background while Martin performed in English and Korean.
