Anthony “Gage” Ehlinger, 27, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1994, in Springfield, to the son of Amy M. (Greene) and Tony D. Ehlinger. Gage is survived by his mother, Amy Ehlinger; father, Tony (Courtney) Ehlinger; brother, Jaydon Ehlinger; grandparents, Cynthia Payne, Deana and Steve Schuler and Nick and Robbi Ehlinger; sister-in-law, Brittany Bowsher; uncles, Todd (Amy) Greene, Danny Greene and Brad (Wendy) Schuler; aunts, Stacy (Brian) Pearson and Tina Johnson; best friend, Darian Penrose; and many cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Donald R. Greene “Papa”. Gage adored his family and his love for them was his top priority. He was his brother’s hero and always made sure he was on the right track. Gage had a passion for music and was an extremely talented artist. He was a friend to everyone and his larger than life personality could light up any room. Private services will take place at the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army Program – JAMS, 15 S. Plum St. Springfield, OH 45506. This program helps children learn a musical instrument for free.
